CHEF BIO
Kyra received her culinary training from the French Culinary Institute in Soho, NY. She went on to work for Daniel Boulud at his upscale bistro, Bar Boulud and Michelin-starred Upper East Side restaurant, Café Boulud. Kyra also spent time in the kitchens at Boulud’s flagship location, Restaurant Daniel, as well as Boulud Sud, Bessou NY, and Battersby in Brooklyn.
After 5 years, desiring a balance of dance & culinary, Kyra made the transition out of traditional restaurants, accepting the position of Catering Chef at Nourish Kitchen + Table; a nutritionally-conscious, farm-to-table restaurant in the West Village. Here she gained strong skills specific to catering and events. She further explored international cuisines and techniques, allowing her to continue growing as a uniquely versatile Chef.

In 2018, Kyra shifted entirely to freelance and private chef work. She connected with wonderful clients around NYC/Hamptons, and CT regions for all types of work including parties and events, private dinners, retreats, and various positions in private residences.
Having recently relocated to Miami Beach, Kyra has found new and exciting professional channels, many specific to the South Florida. She is excited to continue her never ending growth as a chef while maintaining her intentional and conscious approach to food.


HOLISTIC WELLNESS & ENERGY WORK
From a very young age, Kyra felt there was “more to life” than the physical reality around us. She was always “lucky”, noticing things working out for her in the perfect way at the perfect time. However, throughout her years of ballet training and into her culinary work, Kyra struggled greatly with various chronic illnesses; an experience that shaped her current perspective on healing and wellness.
Kyra spent over a decade of bouncing from doctor to doctor with no avail, often worse for the wear when functioning within the paradigm of Western Medicine. Even naturopaths, although useful and empathetic, could not provide true healing. This experience combined with energy work and a series of undeniably synchronistic events showed Kyra that the universe was her best ally. She turned inward and ‘beyond’ for healing and found the path to vibrant health (and expanded consciousness) unfolding swiftly before her.

Inspired by these experiences, Kyra went on to receive her reiki 1 & 2 certifications from Reiki Masters Nana Deleplanque and Lisa Jane Lipkin. She has attended Shamanic Healing workshops with Itzhak Beery, and combines such methods in her healing sessions. In an effort to deepen her holistic nutrition education and to be able offer complete body healing to clients, Kyra attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, awarding her an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certificate. Kyra is fluent in Tarot and often will combine all of these tools in her 1:1 coaching programs.
Kyra’s holistic work serves a sole purpose of empowering the individual to become their own sovereign Self in mind, body, and spirit. She holds the unwavering belief that by nature we are self-healing, and that every single person has an absolute state of vibrant health within them.
